Established over a decade ago by world-class coach and Soma Trainer Pete Kupprion, and rebranded in 2017 to KOOP Strength & Wellness. We are a luxury fitness and wellness center located on Madison Avenue and 58th Street, conveniently just steps from Central Park.
With a focus on movement optimization, performance, longevity, and healthy living, we help our clients by offering the highest level of personal and soma training while providing an always welcoming and private environment.
In light of the current pandemic, we offer individual training pods to ensure separation for our clients and staff safety. We also follow additional social distancing precautions outside of our standard CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recommended cleaning and sanitization procedures.
The general geographic area we serve is Manhattan, NYC, and the surrounding areas, with most of our clients residing or working in Midtown, Midtown East, and the Upper East Side. Our facility is open from Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 8 PM with availability on Saturday and Sunday, all by appointment.
Since our reinvention three years ago, we have made innovative changes in the way we approach fitness by focusing on the whole body and all its integrated systems to produce the results for which our clients strive. Using the latest research and techniques developed by Guy Voyer, our coaches have been trained in ELDOA (longitudinal osteoarticular de-coaptation stretching), and global postural stretching to enhance recovery time, mobility and substantially improve the overall quality of movement.
We have also brought in the latest fitness equipment to enhance our individualized programs’ outcomes and meticulously designed the center to increase each workout’s efficiency.

It is impossible to name a single most significant achievement as we see landmark accomplishments by our clients daily. We have clients with pre-existing orthopedic challenges whom we worked with and, when needed, successfully prepared for positive outcomes post-surgery.
We find it’s a massive win for us and a personal achievement when we hear our clients can get back to a better quality of life after just months with us rather than years.
